2 oz desired liquor
2 tsp bitters
¼ tsp superfine sugar
1 lemon twist
½ tsp cointreau or triple sec

In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the liquor, cointreau, sugar & bitters. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with the lemon twist.
